West Ham vs Chelsea: Prediction, live coverage, team news, line ups and betting odds – EFL Cup preview

West Ham host their first ever derby match at the London Stadium tonight as Slaven Bilic's side take on Chelsea in the EFL Cup.
The Met Police have insisted ‘comprehensive policing plan’ will be in place tonight, while the Hammers yesterday announced ‘robust’ plans to prevent further scenes of violence in the stadium, with body searches and alcohol restrictions in place ahead of tonight's match. Hopefully things run smoothly, and the football is the focus.
Back-to-back victories over Crystal Palace and Sunderland have been injected confidence into Bilic's side, although the thought of now playing a Chelsea team coming off the back of three straight league victories will be daunting.
The Blues outclassed Jose Mourinho's Manchester United side at the weekend, and despite having to go into the heart of east London to take on West Ham in the Cup, Chelsea will be boosted by the fact they have already beaten West Ham 2-1 this season.
